Day 21
Leviticus 20-25
Scripture: 22: 31 “Keep my commands and follow them. I am the LORD.
Observation: Exactly what it says He is the Lord so keep and follow His commands.
Application: I can only hope and pray that I listen to Him and follow His commands but sometimes I think we don’t listen well enough or choose to ignore what we know are commands (because they don’t fit into what we want and don’t want to do). After reading the last few days scripture it was pretty straightforward what the commands were that the Israelites were instructed to follow, so I know some of these are still followed but some are not and I am wondering why that is…?
Prayer: Father please help me to listen and follow your commands and to do this without question! I know sometimes we ignore You or don’t listen closely enough to You and as a result of that don’t follow Your commands. Help us to focus on You. Help us to understand what You want us to know when You want us to know, and to not worry about the rest! Thank you for your unfailing love…Amen
