Day 24
Numbers 8-14
Scripture: 14 11 The LORD said to Moses, How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the miraculous signs I have performed among them?
Observation: In spite of all signs people still didn’t (don’t) believe in God and treated (treat) Him with contempt.
Application: Even I wanted to scream at them and ask them HOW they couldn’t believe in Him even though they actually HEARD Him, saw the food given to them every day, the cloud, the fire etc etc etc I mean really?!?!?
But then again I don’t know how I would have behaved, I know how I hope I would have behaved but I don’t KNOW…and even these days we don’t always believe in Him even though we can read His word and still see miracles happen daily we don’t always believe and don’t always trust…we need to change our ways and our hearts and actually practice what we preach…
Prayer: Father I am so sorry for not believing and trusting in You always. Thank You thank You thank You for Your unbelievable kindness, love, grace and mercy… without that I would definitely have no chance! Please go with those that still don’t or prefer not to believe in You, help us to show them the way to You. In Jesus name I pray..Amen
