Day 50
1 Samuel 26- 2 Samuel 1
Scripture: 1 Samuel 28 16 Samuel said, “Why do you consult me, now that the LORD has departed from you and become your enemy?
Observation: Saul only wanted to ask Samuel for help after God left him.
Application: Unfortunately this happen a lot in our times and also sometimes in our own lives. We know about God but only when bad things happen do we think ‘hang on He has left me I now have to start praying and going to church’. Oh this is most definitely not how it works…but we still have so much to learn!
Prayer: Father please help me to remember You and Your amazing miracles at all times. And not to call upon You only if something bad is happening in my life and I think that You had left me (I know You never will, but we are sometimes so stupid and think You do). Help me to remember You in good times and bad times! Thank You for everything You do in my life on a daily basis ( I mean looking and thinking about them, how can I ever doubt You??) but yes we do...for that I am truly sorry. Thank You for being such a patient and loving God. Amen
