Day 71

1 Chronicles 19-25

Scripture: 22 ¹⁹ Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the LORD your God. Begin to build the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the sacred articles belonging to God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the LORD.”

Observation: God was very clear about the fact that it was now time to focus on Him and to build a place were others can come and worship and also will remind them of what He had done.

Application: So God was very clear in calling David and asking him to focus on God…It kinds of make me think (actually I have no doubt) that He is doing the same with me..its like hey Ilani! I know you are very busy at the moment but remember me, stop and focus on me and build a place for me in your heart so that other people would be able to see that I am with you.

Prayer: Father thank You so much for meeting me in Your word every time I read the Bible. It is amazing to know there is a message from you every day because You love me enough to do this. Please guide me as I follow you so that I do it with honor by serving You. Help me to scrape away what needs to go! Thank you, Lord for offering up the Bible as a way I can remember you every single day. And thank you for meeting me when I read and when I pray.
