Day 100!!!!
Proverbs 1-9
Scripture: 3 11 My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in.
Observation:. God disciplines those that he love, when they do something wrong. Just like your dad do.
Application: I hated it when I was young and my parents would say, I am doing this because I love you (when being disciplined). I mean really?!?!?! If you loved me you would let me go without discipline right!?wrong, now being older, and I hope a little bit wiser, I can see why they did it so that you would think twice about doing the wrong thing again or not even thinking about ever doing it again…so yeah I get it, now, finally!hahaha and so I get when God also disciplines us, that it means He loves and cares about me enough to actually do that. However I would prefer not to be disciplined of course, so I should just try not to do anything that deserves discipline ;)
Prayer: thank You so much Lord for loving me enough to care about what I do in my life. And to steer me on the right path and also to discipline me when I do something wrong. It is amazing to think that I am important enough for You to do this! But help me to not even need discipline :) Amen
