Day 143
Haggai 1- Zechariah 9
Scripture: Haggai 1 9 “You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the Lord Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house
Observation: After all that they did they expected to see a lot of return but the work was mostly selfish…what did they do for the kingdom?
Application: Ok so this is a tough question and verse…what are my (your) priorities and where does the kingdom fall into this as compared to my (your) family, friends etc etc I definitely know where I want it to be, but is it?
Prayer: Father please guide me as I work for you and your kingdom. Show me how to serve you best for all of your kingdom as well as my own little part of it in my family. I want to be careful in what I do and be sure to plant much as well as harvest much for you. But most of all I want to honour you in everything I do! Again I thank you for your reminders…and I thank you for the help and guidance I know you will give me! Amen
