Week
22- check in
So many of you are in all different points of the Bible now: We have readers who are in the first few books of the Old Testament, almost caught up in the New Testament, right on track, and some who are zooming ahead of schedule. Wherever you are just be happy that you are reading His Word regularly, and don’t get discouraged if you feel as though you aren’t hearing much… I have no doubt you are hearing much more than you realize!
Also, though, if you are behind, do whatever you can to get caught up soon. Yes, it can be tough depending on how far back you may be, but get caught up or do your best to get as close as you possibly can. I promise it is about much more than checking off a box. Staying with us and finishing with us will keep you going and motivated until we all finish July 8. If you decide to finish much after the group finishes, you may not have the same encouragement and enthusiasm as when you are reading with the whole group… and we want you to finish!
For some of you, catching up may seem impossible. But all things are possible with Christ… and don’t you think He’ll help you with this one especially? He has given you the time, it is up to you to decide how to use it.
We have about a month to go… what can you set aside for a month to be sure to finish with us? Can someone help you get your other ‘chores’ done for just a few weeks? Can you wake up even an extra hour earlier? Or can you read while you eat one meal each day… and before you go to bed? Can you set an alarm to go off every hour for a few hours and read for 15 minutes each time?
Think about what you can do to really catch up and stay on track… and make plans to make it happen.
Good
luck for this week and let me know where you are!!!:)
