Leviticus 8-13

Scripture: 10 Aaron's sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD, contrary to his command.

Observation: Nadab and Abihu abused their office as priests in an act of disrespect to God, after he told them precisely what to do. Their punishment was death. 

Application: As leaders they had special abilities to obey God, because they could lead so many people astray!
 
Prayer: Father thank you for choosing people to lead us. I pray that you please be with everyone you have chosen to make sure that they stay close to you and follow you in everything they do and to listen to your advice.
