Week 3- check in

Hi everyone!

Ok so yesterday was public holiday here in Korea so I wasn’t at school at my computer to send you my soap and check in sorry!!!It doesn’t mean I didn’t do it I just couldn’t send it hahaha so today is considered ‘Monday’ to me :) Let me know how you are doing? Are you feeling closer to God?

the last few days has been an extreme rollercoaster for me with highs, lows and the flat bit leading up to the other two…now you guys know me and know I like stuff to be exciting but after this I reckon I can do with boring for two to three days please hahahah but seriously after these highs and lows I was praying a lot of different prayers for different things and it was almost like how can I cover everything I need with prayer, I know God knows what I need but I also knows he wants me to ask…so it was a case of how do I pray for, patience, forgiveness, love, trust, new beginnings, repentance etc etc and this morning He told me what to pray: ‘Father, please help me to be more like you”…that is all, because if I become more like him then all the other things will in turn fall into place (I am not saying this happens over night but I am sure it will start immediately and just get stronger and stronger).

So that will be my prayer for the rest of my life everyday (and more things of course hahah) but that will be part of it. Maybe this will help one of you too the find peace in your prayers.

Good luck for the next week and know each one of you are in my prayers...

God Bless

  1. Hi, Ilani ~

Sorry for the late check-in ~ I am in the land of no wireless (which means my family is too thrifty ~ aka cheap to get it) :-) so I have to take my turn on the computer. I'm sorry to say that I am a tad bit behind, but hope to catch up tomorrow at the hospital while my Dad is in surgery (nothing serious). I am thankful for the closeness I feel right now with God because it will be quite a rocky week. I hope he is ready for my ambush of prayers. Have a great (rest of the) week.
