Day 12- SOAP

Day 12

Hi guys so I had two verses jumping out at me today so just couldnt decide between the two and even after waiting a few hours the same still happened so I decided to share just the one in a SOAP with you and the other just the verse and will do the SOAP on my own

Thanks to all for your wonderful emails and comments that I get on a daily basis and also the posts on the blog! It makes me soooo happy when I see them and read them! And in our first week we only had TWO people who were behind and that is out of a total of 28 now! So I think it is absolutely awesome!!!!!Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication!

Exodus: 15-20

Scripture: 16:18 And when they measured it by the omer, he who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little did not have too little. Each one gathered as much as he needed

Observation: It didnt matter how little or how much everyone gathered in the end they had what was needed.

Application: We will receive what we need, not what we want or what we think we are owed, but what we need. I think this is applicable in a lot of things in life and I think God is telling me to not be greedy but also not to underestimate what I need. At the end of the day He will give us what we need.

Prayer: Please help me not to be greedy or underestimate myself or my abilitiesthank you for loving me

2nd Verse

20:17 You shall not covet your neighbour's house. You shall not covet your neighbour's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbour.

Day 14s reading: Exodus 21-27

Read the blog here: 180 days

  1. Sorry this is late - I've been reading on schedule and writing in a notebook, but sometimes I don't have time to post on here!

S - Ex.19:18 "Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD."

O - Judge is the only one who should/can judge people for their actions. We should leave it up to Him.

A - I have a hard time letting go sometimes when people treat me the wrong way, or do something that I find offensive. I need to learn how to let that anger go. I think God is telling me that it takes up too much of my energy and time trying to hold a grudge and that it's not my responsibility to punish people for their wrongs. I think it's ok to be upset with people, just not to hold on to it.

P - Lord, please help me let go of anger towards others. If someone does some wrong against me, let me pause and remember it's you who should judge, not me. Help me recognize when I am holding a grudge so that I may stop and move on. Thank you for your guidance.
