Week 2 Check in

Week 2 Check in

Welcome to the week 2 check in! I really hope your readings are going well and that you are kind of in a routine now! I know it is hard and that quite a few challenging times are ahead (it is New Years here in Korea so a very busy weekend etc) and some people are going on holidays soon (sooo jealous J) BUT I know we can all do it! I know at first the readings can be overwhelming, but by keeping this a commitment you WILL be able to read the entire Bible with us.

The week coming could also be quite challenging for most (most definitely including me) as we are going into a part of the Bible that has extremely fine detail about certain things…(and if your mind works like mine you will have to understand things before you can move on)…but I learned the first time reading the Bible that you don’t have to understand everything because you can ask questions or come back to it when you read the Bible again and it might make more sense then. So don’t beat yourself up if you don’t understand and remember everything you read this week, I am going to try my best but for example there is no way I will be able to remember the exact details of the Tabernacle or all the laws! Just keep on reading!!

Each Monday we will do a check in and you can do this on the blog itself (in the comments at the bottom of this post Check in 2 ) or by email. I will send you the link to the blog everyday with my SOAP and also the reading for the next day. Please contact me if you have any problems etc or even if you just want to say that you are doing well in your readings...Hearing some of your feedback yesterday at church was amazing!

Thank you so much and good luck for the week!

This week’s reading:

Exodus 21- Leviticus 19

  2. On track!

Wow, what a week! I keep reading Exodus 4 over and over. If I am reading this right, I have a lot to work on. I know there are times that the Lord has wanted me to do things, but I hesitate or don't do them because I question Him and keep questioning Him.

    Thanks!
