Judges 20- Ruth 4
Scripture: Ruth 1 16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.
Observation: Even after her husband died she decided to stay with Naomi which shows me how seriously she took her marriage vow.
Application: I always thought Ruth was such a good person and daughter in law, even when I heard the story when I was much younger. It shows me how seriously she took her marriage vow and the vow she made to the Lord through that and then how he rewarded her…
Prayer: Please Father help me to stand by the promises that I make to you and in Your name…help me not to slip! Thank you that we can see how you stand by the ones that stand by their promises to you, and also for the many times we can see it in our daily lives, thank you for all the times you are there for us!Amen!
