Day 61

2 Kings 1-6

Scripture: 4 ⁴³ “How can I set this before a hundred men?” his servant asked.

But Elisha answered, “Give it to the people to eat. For this is what the LORD says: ‘They will eat and have some left over.’”

Observation: Elisha instructed the man to serve what he had because this is what the Lord said, even though there was clearly more people than food available.

Application: Ok so does this message sound familiar to you?!?!It was only two days ago that I had the verse of the woman with the oil and now it is this one. And in both of them it is about the absolute trust they portrayed in something seemingly impossible..Can you imagine what you might have said..?I think I know what I might have said or felt hence why this is coming up AGAIN for me hahaha got to work on that absolute trust!!!So Elisha heard the Lord speak and he knew it will come true without any doubt, can you imagine being THAT confident? Knowing for absolute sure that you heard the Lord correctly and could share that without worry at all? That would be pretty incredible!

Prayer: Father please help me to become a better listener, I really want to work at hearing and understanding You more. Thank You also for sending this message again so that I can see how important it is and also not forget to work on it! Thank You that I can read your word every day and for speaking to me through it. Amen
