Day 73- SOAP

Day 73

2 Chronicles 2-7

Scripture: 6 36 “When they sin against you—for there is no one who does not sin—and you become angry with them and give them over to the enemy, who takes them captive to a land far away or near;

Observation: We will sin and God will be angry.

Application: Even Solomon (the wisest King) knew we would sin against God (and He will get angry). So if you do sin you have to of course repent and not do it again, but also don’t beat yourself up and think you are this extremely bad person because no one is perfect and without sin. Now if you knew it was sin before you did it and decided to still do it, yes you can beat yourself up hahaha but if it is something you did without thinking or realizing it is sin, repent (truly repent!) and ask God to forgive you, and He will listen to you.

Prayer: Thank You God that even such a wise man as Solomon knew that we will sin against You. I am however sorry for when we do (knowing or not) and I ask that You go with us and help us to cut sin out of our lives as much as possible. I also don’t think we always understand what is sin because we are so used to certain ways of doing or saying things that we might not even see it as sin but it is…so help us also to realize when we are sinning and to apologize to the person we sinned again and to repent towards you. Thank you for being such a forgiving God! Amen

I wanted to share the following with you that I received via someone else

May you learn to trust God more with each passing day. When He calls, may you follow where He leads, step out without having all of the information, speak up without having all the answers, and look up, when your circumstances threaten to weigh you down. May you live, breathe, and speak as one who's ensured victory and equipped to do the impossible. Sleep well tonight knowing that all of heaven is on your side.
