Day 85
Job 24-33
Scripture: 31 13 “If I have denied justice to any of my servants,
whether male or female,
when they had a grievance against me,
14 what will I do when God confronts me?
What will I answer when called to account?
15 Did not he who made me in the womb make them?
Did not the same one form us both within our mothers?
Observation: What will you say to God one day when you weren’t fair towards other people?
Application: in everything I do I have to remember that I am not better than anyone else. God made all of us and that was in his image. So remembering that I should be fair and to everyone and make sure justice is done where I can so that when I give account it can be honest and with a pure heart.
Prayer: Thank you lord for showing me again to be humble and not to think I am better than others (sometimes this happens unfortunately) and it is wrong because you made all of us and would not have made some better than others. Thank you for the fact that you did make me and that you knew me before I was even born and that you loved me so much that you died for me. Thank you for all of this and so many other things! Amen

I am a day behind in the reading (hopefully will catch up tonight) so my SOAP is behind, but I still wanted to share.
ReplyDeleteS - Job 33:14 - "For God does speak - now one way, now another - though man may not perceive it."
O - God talks to us and shows us things everyday.
A - Sometimes what He shows or tells us is totally clear to us. Other times, especially in hard times, we can't see it. We need to trust that He is there, working in ways we don't or can't understand.
P - Father, thank you for watching over us. Help to open my ears and my eyes to all you are showing me. In Jesus's name, Amen.
Thank you for this Ryan...so very very true :)
