Day 92
Psalm 57-70
Hi everyone…so most of you know that on Saturday a group of us went to a festival here in South Korea. This was a pretty amazing festival as the seas actually parted!!!Yes part! So the first thing you think: Moses? Right? hahaha well so the water didn’t stop flowing immediately and form walls on either side but the tides did move out and we were able to walk on the actual bottom of the sea for about 3km from where we were to an island close by, it was pretty spectacular especially when the tide started coming back in and you had to walk through the currents to get back to the other side! So I knew I won’t be able to sleep on the bus and the others probably will so I decided to do some readings for the week and write down the verses that jump out and then still do my soaps on the day of the reading (only got as far as Tuesday though hahah)…and so I got to Psalm 66:5-6 and it just HAD to be my verse for the day (Tuesday)…no other choice ;) so here goes:
Scripture: 66 5 Come and see what our God has done,
what awesome miracles he performs for people!
6 He made a dry path through the Red Sea,[a]
and his people went across on foot.
There we rejoiced in him.
Observation: God made a path for them when they needed it.
Application: We know God will make a way, even if we can’t see it ourselves sometimes. We just have to trust in him to do it and he will find the best way for us (even if it means going straight through the sea!).
Prayer: Father thank You for everything You do for us! And thank You for making a way for us every time even if it looks dark and impossible to us, nothing is impossible to You. And after seeing what I saw on Saturday, how can anyone justify not believing a 100% in You???Thank You also that I could see this on a very very special and important weekend for us, it just made it that much more WOW for me! Thank You so much for showing me that and being there with me and that I could feel your presence and see it all around me! You are truly awesome! Amen
