ok so it is a off day here in South Korea for most of us, hence the late SOAP, everything is a bit slower today hahaha We have two prayer requests from two members reading with us:
1. Please pray for a fellow member whose cousin is in hospital, it just happened suddenly yesterday morning. The doctors say it is some kind of virus but they don't know which and at this moment he is in ICY and talk or breath on his own and is also paralysed. He is in his 30's and his name is Rogan. Please pray for him and his family, that God will lift them up and heal him.
2. Please pray for one of our members: for her son to get closer to God and then in that process for them to get closer to each other. They started reading the Psalms together and there has already been questions from him and also discussions. Ask God to help her give the right answers and lead her in helping her son and to help the son in everything he is going through in life right now (he is in his late teens, and most of us know how difficult and trying that time could be!).
thanks guys!
have a blessed day ;)
Day 93
Psalm 71-79
Scripture: 78 39 For he remembered that they were merely mortal,
gone like a breath of wind that never returns.
Observation: He knows that we are mere mortals.
Application: When and if I do something wrong I should repent and then move on. Don’t keep on beating yourself up about it, as this verse says, God knows we are mere mortals and that we will make mistakes and sin. He doesn’t expect us to be perfect (no one is perfect except for Him) but He does however expect us to try our best and to learn from our mistakes.
Prayer: Father thank You that I know You know I am not perfect and that I will never be and that You don’t expect me to be. Thank You that You know I will make mistakes and sin but that You will forgive me if I truly repent over them. Thank you that we know this and help us to also forgive ourselves when we do do something wrong. Thank You for everything You do for us! Amen
