Day 114
Isaiah 47-54
Scripture: 54 10 Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
Observation: God’s love for us will not be shaken.
Application: It doesn’t matter what happens or what we do God will always love us. This however does not mean we can do anything and get away with it, it does mean that if we repent He will forgive us but even if we don’t repent He will still love us. He won’t forgive us (as we didn’t repent and ask for forgiveness) but he will still love us. It is like parents: no matter what kids do they still love them…but His is just so much more powerful! So just know that God loves you and even if you did some really bad things in your life if you truly repent he will forgive you, but regardless of all, He loves you!
Prayer: Father thank you that I know that you love me unconditionally. Doesn’t matter what I do or what happens in the world you still love me…but yes I know that doesn’t give me a green card to do anything I want! But it is very reassuring to know that you have love for us that would never be shaken…I mean the fact that You gave your only son proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt! Thank you for telling me over and over that you love me…please be with those that don’t know this or cant accept it! In your name we pray, Amen.
