Daniel 10- Hosea 7
Scripture: 5 15 Then I will return to my lair
until they have borne their guilt
and seek my face —
in their misery
they will earnestly seek me. ”
Observation: They will seek Him in their misery.
Application: This is so true in our lives too, we seek God in our misery and when we need him and not always when it is going good. And that is so sad and so disappointing that we are still making the mistakes they made thousands of years ago. Why is it sometimes difficult to remember thanking God but it is so easy to remember asking Him….
Prayer: Father, thank you for giving me this verse to just remind me again that I should not only seek you in my misery but praise you in my happiness too. There are so many things that we don’t say thank you for that we sometimes don’t even realize is from you because we take it as a given…I want to say thank you for those things too Father, thank you for absolutely everything! Amen
