Day 148

Matthew 17-24

So today my SOAP will be a little bit different as I wrote down all the versus and highlighted the bits that spoke to me… I did a soap on one of them for myself but thought I’d like you all to see them and maybe they were the same ones that spoke to you or you might have missed them because you were hurried and now you think hang on yes this is for me too…or just to read them again and see how amazing God is…whichever ;) so here you go!

Scripture: 17 ⁵ While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”

18 ³⁵ “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.”

20 ¹⁵ Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’

24 ¹³ but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

24 ⁴² “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

And again I have one that I need Pastor Brandon to explain. Now I did Bible study on the book of Matthew BUT I know most people will wonder why this happened and I remembered the explanation was important so please Pastor Brandon if you don’t mind repeating this for us! Thank you ;)

21 ¹⁸ Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. ¹⁹ Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.
