Day 149

Matthew 25- Mark 2

Scripture: Mark 1 ¹⁸ At once they left their nets and followed him.

Observation: They immediately left everything to follow God.

Application: I love, and admire, the fact that they literally left everything they were doing and just followed Jesus. They saw some of the things He was doing and heard the things He was saying but they didn’t know for sure that He is the Son of God, but they believed it..they just had this great belief in him and what he is and followed him. They didn’t say wait I have to do this or that first they just went. I would hope and pray I would have done the same if it was me in their shoes.

 

Prayer: Thank you father for showing me the way you want me to follow you. Right now and completely, even if it means losing friends, family or things along the way it shouldn’t be about that but about following you. Please help me to do this! In your name we pray…amen
