Day 10

DAY 10
Exodus 1-8

Scripture: Ex 2 23 Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. 24 So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.

Observation: The people have waited a long time for God to rescue them and when he knew the right time had come he did it.

Application: God’s ‘rescue’ doesn’t always come the moment we want it to, he knows when the best time is to act. And that to me is a very difficult one to accept sometimes…one because I like to be in control and two because I am not the most patient person in the world ;) but this is something God is helping me with every single day and it is most def getting better! I have to always remind myself, when I might feel like he forgot about me, that he has a schedule that we can’t see. We have no idea when things will happen (at least it won’t be 400 years ;)). But we can have the assurance that it will happen!

Prayer: Father thank you that we know you have a plan with us. Thank you that you love us so much as to have this plan. Help us to wait patiently for things to happen...Amen
