DAY 10
Exodus 1-8

Scripture: Ex 2 ²³ Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. ²⁴ So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. ²⁵ And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.

Observation: The people have waited a long time for God to rescue them and when he knew the right time had come he did it. 

Application: God’s ‘rescue’ doesn’t always come the moment we want it to, he knows when the best time is to act. And that to me is a very difficult one to accept sometimes…one because I like to be in control and two because I am not the most patient person in the world ;) but this is something God is helping me with every single day and it is most def getting better! I have to always remind myself, when I might feel like he forgot about me, that he has a schedule that we can’t see. We have no idea when things will happen (at least it won’t be 400 years ;)). But we can have the assurance that it will happen!

Prayer: Father thank you that we know you have a plan with us. Thank you that you love us so much as to have this plan. Help us to wait patiently for things to happen...Amen
