Scripture: 28 3 Tell all the skilled workers to whom I have given wisdom in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest.
Observation: The people (artisans) who made Aaron’s garments were ‘filled with the spirit of wisdom’ in order to do their task. All of us have special skills. God wants to fill us with his Spirit so we will use those skills to his glory.
Application: Think about your special talents and abilities and the ways you could use them for God’s work in the world. As you focus on helping and giving to others, God will show you the best ways to do it and give you wisdom to accomplish the task.
Prayer: Father thank you so much for each of our special talents and abilities. There are so many times that people say that they have no special talents (me included) but we don’t think outside of the box that anything (even talking like mine hahah) could be a talent! Help each of us to find our talents and then to use them for your work in this world. Thank you for guiding us through all of this with your word. In your name we pray. Amen
